Abstract
The article will consider the relationship of emotional intelligence of sales consultants with the mani- festation of emotional barriers in communication with customers. The article also analyzed the scientific litera- ture of foreign and domestic authors. For the practical research, the tests “Diagnosis of emotional barriers in in- terpersonal communication” by V. V. Boyko and “Diagnosis of emotional intelligence” by N. Hall were used. To process the results and establish the relationship between emotional intelligence and the presence of emotion- al barriers, the study used the method of mathematical-statistical data processing - correlation analysis of K. Pearson
