DEVELOPMENT OF TERRITORIAL POTENTIAL ON THE BASIS OF KNOWLEDGE-BASED ECONOMY

The paper reviews the development of territorial potential, knowledge economy, and its characteristics. Statistics of educational structure of the Russian Federation is researched in this article. Examples of education development in subjects of the Russian Federation and in other countries are in the paper. Tendencies of development of knowledge as a definition during the second part of XX-XXI centuries are reviewed, and on the base of it definitions of “knowledge as product” and “knowledge as cognitive process” are showed by the author. The close correlation of the education level and salary level is explored in this paper
