YOUTH AS STRATEGIC SOCIO-DEMOGRAPHIC RESOURCES OF RUSSIA AND THE EUROPEAN UNION

Purpose. Study of the special status of the youth in Russia and the European Union as a major strategic resource capable of reproducing the material and intellectual resources. Methods. The international documents on the implementation of state youth policy were analyzed. The data of sociological research in the definition of the general trends and differences in the Russian and European youth were provided. Results. On the basis of evidence-based approaches and expertise, as well as their own conclusions through the process to improve the mechanisms for the implementation of youth policy in international institutions, particularly the European Union. Scientific novelty. The comparative analysis of general trends of transformation, as well as international differences youth in Russia and the EU.
