In this study, an attempt is made to form a psychological portrait of a specialist in the legal industry, based on the opinion of high school students, as social representations play an important role in the perception of representatives of the legal profession, the formation of trust in them and willingness to cooperate. The content of social ideas about a successful lawyer is influenced by the age, educational, social, ethnic and professional status of representatives of a particular social group. In this regard, the prevailing ideas of a successful lawyer in society are corrected at the level of individual consciousness
