Abstract
The main results of controlling use as a tool of managing industrial enterprises for the increase of their competitiveness are generalized in the article. In addition the practical aspects of using the system of controlling by foreign industrial companies and the recommendations on improving the application of the system of controlling at the domestic industrial enterprises are considered.
