Abstract
In the article the language representation of dynamics of development of category ?their nasty? as a result of neutralization of "strangers" in the binary opposition system "their / strangers" basing on literary texts of Ancient Russia is considered. For the first time it is attempted to research objective a role and status of the category ?their strangers? as Turkic representatives in the social stratification of Old Russian society.
