DISTRIBUTION OF CHRISTIANITY IN ARMENIA (I - VI)

The article deals with the problems of the spread of Christianity among the population of the Armenian kingdom from the 1st to the 6th centuries. The author focuses heavily on the process of Armenian acceptance of Christianity at the state level (301 pp.) аnd the flowering of national culture associated with this. The character of the relationship of Christianity with the prevailing Zoroastrianism in Armenia is revealed. The influence of the christological debates unfolding in the fifth century on the formation of the dogmatic and religious features of the Armenian Apostolic Church is highlighted.
