ROLE OF TIMOLOL DROPS IN NASAL LOBULAR CAPILLARY HEMANGIOMA

Abstract
Epistaxis is most common presenting complaint in ENT. Most common cause is hypertension in elderly age group. Epistaxis can also occur in benign lesion like capillary hemangioma . Surgical excision of hemangioma should be done in these cases .in this case patient underwent surgical excision of hemangioma under general anaesthesia .during follow up a small residual lesion was seen in bony septum. we decided to apply timolol drops soaked in gelfoam over the residual lesion. After three weeks the residual lesion was completely disappeared.
