Abstract
The work identifies the role and importance of professionally oriented training of students of technological specialties. Some features of the formation of professional competence of future specialists of enterprises of restaurant industry are considered. It has been highlighted the guidelines for the training of a specialist who is capable of qualitatively fulfilling his professional duties in accordance with the requirements of society.
