Abstract
Nowadays many of the areas the problem of water scarcity is often witnessed either due to non-availability of adequate water resources or degradation of surface and groundwater bodies due to industrial / domestic pollution or by both. In urban / industrial towns, both these factors will play a vital role. Growing population will not only reduce per capita availability, but at the same time cause pollution of existing water resources in the absence of control measures for its prevention. In this present study by a systematic sampling has been carried out to find the water quality parameters of the Lake, by collecting samples from five different positions or locations, which covering entire area of the lake, The samples were collected and analyzed water samples from All the Seasons i.e. Summer Season, Rainy Season and Winter Season for physico-chemical and biological parameters of pH, Total Hardness ,Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Nitrates (NO3 2-), Sulphates (SO4 2-), Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and to give suitable management techniques to make water free from the pollution for the beneficial purposes
