Abstract
The article discusses the concept of "digital literacy", which is the subject of a significant number of scientific publications. The purpose of this study is to analyze of digital competence of teachers and develop a theoretical model that would allow generalization of numerous practices and theoretical approaches regarding digital literacy. To assess the level of digital competence of teachers in the work was used the method of "Index of digital competence". The problem of the transformation of the concept of “literacy” is fixed, caused by sociocultural changes, which are based on scientific and technical progress, as well as the emergence of a large number of “partial literacy” closely related to each other.
