Abstract
The important element in musical teaching practicum during the trombone training (especially at the initial stage) is the correct embouchure setting. The main muscles (their number exceeds 22) involved in this process are defined: ca-nine muscle, zygomatic muscle, risorius muscle, musculus buccinator, triangular and mentalis muscles. The different ways of embouchure setting are examined in this article: antique setting, embouchure of smile, collected embouchure, position of lips without pressing statement. The role of the choice and setting of mouthpiece for the student is shown.
