Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the effect of the engine torque and the road surface roughness on the load of the automotive transmission system. In the study, a dynamic model for the automobile with 4x4 wheel formula is created. The model includes the transmission system itself, the suspension system and the automotive body. Also, the excitation sources from the oscillation of the engine torque and the road surface roughness are analyzed. Based on the created model, the mathematical model is built. Some calculated simulation results of the impact of road surface roughness and engine torque on the load of automotive transmission are shown for illustration.
