Abstract
We report a case of Juvenile nasopharyngeal angiofibroma (JNA) in a 17 year old male who presented with complaints of epistaxis, bilateral nasal obstruction, mouth breathing and frontal headache for a few months, recurrent 2 years after operation for similar symptoms. CT scan and MRI with gadolinium were the imaging modalities used to evaluate the extension of the tumor. Digital subtraction angiography was performed for the patient to delineate the vascular supply of the mass and preoperative embolization with gel foam slurry was done in the same setting. The patient then underwent laproscopic excision of the tumor with minimal blood loss.
