Abstract
The article deals with the works of P.S. Bakhlykov – representative of regional culture. In the field of view of the author of the article are his paintings and ethnographic journalism. The analysis of P. Bakhlykov's heritage is carried out from the position of an ontological understanding of time in its correlation with being. On this basis, in his work two main communication models of the concept of time and ontology are distinguished: the event ontology model and the presence ontology model. In the second model, there are two main types of “invasion” of the past into the present – “silent” and “intelligible”
