Abstract
The aspects of history and development of chamber singing are revealed in the article. If the opera performance, choral and ensemble singing are at high level, then as a whole the chamber and vocal performance is in crisis, despite the wealth of beautiful singing voices. There is a hope of the culture regeneration of chamber and vocal singing through the artistic generation of young singers who have devoted the whole life to art, combining poetry and music. The chamber and vocal art of different countries proposed the distinguishing artists; the peculiarities of their national music culture are shown in their performance. Each performing musician, having a strong creative manner, the richest repertoire, created the foundation and traditions for the national chamber and vocal culture. The nation
temperament and the typical national language peculiarities determined the art requirements, manner and style of performance,and singing sound quality.
