Abstract
The researches of snow cover in uneven-age deciduous forest of after felling origin, spruce forest (as comparison) and on open area are conducted. Values of the main physical indicators of snow cover are defined: height, thickness, snow storage. It is established that snow cover thickness in deciduous forest and on open area is higher, than in a spruce forest. It is identified that to 40-year age snow cover of aspen and birch forest does not restore the level of a snow storage content peculiar to a spruce forest.
