Abstract
Due to the combustion of Kazakhstan fields coal, ash pulp in the run-around system of hydraulic ash disposal has acidic nature, with repeated use of the same volume of water, waste waters are produced with pH = 2-3. The permanent action of the acid environment on the equipment leads to active corrosion of the metal around the movement of recycled water, the abrasive effect of the slag and ash enhances this process.
