QUALITY ASSESSMENT OF SNUBBING UNIT OF DRILLING RIGS

The issues of developing mathematical model of functioning of a snubbing unit of drilling rig at pulling-and-running operations and a method of capacity rating of the snubbing unit, allowing to appraise perfection of the power driver of lifting equipment of drilling rig, to optimize its design and operational mode by criterion of economy of engineering time, to estimate energy consumption at pulling-and-running operations are considered in the article. Existing procedures for quality assessment of drilling rigs are based on expert methods and don't include an assessment of layout and kinematic perfection, a power ratio and rationality of using power of the driver, determination of capacity of the snubbing unit of drilling rigs and resource of supporting members of the drilling equipment. The method of calculation of power consumption and costs of engineering time by lifting equipment is developed and the comparison on the example of the BU 2500-EP, BU 2500-EU and BU 2500-DGU drilling rigs is carried out.
