Abstract
Takayasu arteritis is most prevalent in young women with onset almost exclusively before 40 years. This is a chronic inflammatory arteritis with progressive course eventually leading to death due to congestive cardiac failure or cerebro vascular accident. It is also called as pulseless disease. Here we present a case of Primi gravida with Takayasu Arteritis. She was managed to have a successful maternal and fetal outcome inspite of developing IUGR and oligohydramnios.
