Abstract
The purpose of the study was to identify the relevance of the use of analgesia of manipulation іn medicine. Modern diagnostics and modern technological possibilities of modern medicine are simply impressive. Computer diagnostics, contrast-enhanced magnetic reso-nance imaging, oncological laboratory parameters and many other diagnostic tests allow medical professionals to diagnose and provide qualified medical assistance to patients in a timely manner. The diagnosis directly depends on teamwork, coordinated work of medical staff at different stages: 1) Stage «DOCTOR» - a list of procedures for diagnosis and interpretation of the obtained indicators, results, consultations of the narrow specialists; 2) Stage «NURSE» - preparing a patient, taking blood, transporting biological material; 3) Stage «LABORATORY ASSISTANT» - еxecution of laboratory tests, inspections. Often the illness of patients affects their psycho-logical state. Patients who were exhausted from physical dissatisfaction, excited, require excessive care for them-selves, especially those who are watching the possibilities of modern medicine from television series, the Internet. But, as it turns out, 20% of the population of the post-Soviet countries and 10% of Americans do not just capri-cious but suffer from trypanophobia. Stress that occurs in the background of a white robe syndrome, fear of injection and pain during medical manipulations can lead to inadequate laboratory results (especially hormonal indicators), to slow down the recov-ery period, and in some cases even to complications. In such patients at this period, the formation of the hypothalamic corticotropin, which activates the cortex of the adrenal cortex, forming corticosteroids (glucocorticoids and mineralocorticoids), begins to form, which in turn leads to the formation of point hemorrhages on the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract and other pathological conditions. According to our study, which was based on the central city clinical hospital of the admissions department, based on a sociological survey of 80 patients interviewed - 11 patients were afraid of injection, 15 patients had an increased threshold of pain sensitivity, and 2 patients even refused to be hospitalized due to white robe syndrome. This means that 35% of patients could receive more qualified medical care if they knew in advance about the cause of their phobias and were informed that they had the right to painless procedures and proper preparation for medical manipulation.
