Abstract

The development history of the securities market and its perspectives in the Republic of Azerbaijan have been analyzed in our scientific article. The impact of the securities market on the country's economy has been identified. Taking into account the ongoing reforms in the Republic of Azerbaijan, recommendations and proposals on the strengthening the State Securities Committee, restoration of the legal base of stock societies and creation of the corporative Governance Codex have been discussed in the article.
