The Habits of Teacher Candidates Telephone Interviewing

Abstract
The present study it was aimed to determine the habits of teacher candidates telephone interviewing and evaluate them according to various variables. Since the study has descriptive features, survey model is adopted. The sampling of the study was selected among the teacher candidates (n= 204) who are studying at the faculties of education at a state university. With the purpose to determine the habits of teacher candidates by telephone, the researcher have developed a scale based on the relevant literature. The prepared scale is given to the participants by the researcher. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the candidates usually exhibit their telephone interviewing habits. Department of the teacher candidates do not make a meaningful difference in their telephone conversation habits. However, gender and GPA were found to be significantly different in terms of change.
