A RARE PRESENTATION OF MARJOLINS ULCER IN A PRESSURE SORE DUE TO TRAUMATIC PARAPLEGIA

Abstract
Presenting a case, 47yr old male present with ulcer in left foot for 7yr, ho fall from height 23yr back and developed paraplegia, no history of pain over ulcer, fever. OE ulceroproliferative growth measuring 78cm and on heel of left , everted edges, fixed, hard base, bleed to touch, friable, no distal vascular deficit. Wedge biopsy showed the feature of well differentiated squamous cell carcinoma. Below knee amputation was done as wide local excision has high recurrence rate. This case is presented for its rarity a marjolins ulcer presentation in a pressure sore in the heel pad of left foot due to traumatic paraplegia.
