Abstract
This scientific paper is the review paper included in the transactions of the authors that work on the creation of ecologically friendly polymer materials based on furfuryl glycidyl ether (FGE) and its derivatives that are produced from the products of raw material processing. This paper gives new FGE derivatives based on fat acids and pentaphthalic oligoethers, kinetic mechanisms of their synthesis and polymerization mechanisms of FGE and its derivatives in the presence of new complex onium catalysts (COC) and a new conception of the synthesis of linear and cross-linked “nonisocyanate” polyhydroxy urethanes that have thermally reversible properties was given based on FGE.
