Abstract
Testicular feminisation syndrome or androgen insensitivity syndrome is a rare disorder with an incidence of 1,20,000-1,64,000 male birth (1). The other terminology is male pseudohermaphrodite and they have a male karyotype with sexual ambiguity or may have a female phenotype. There are two forms - complete androgen insensitivity syndrome (CAIS) and partial androgen insensitivity syndrome (PAIS). PAIS is more uncommon than CAIS. Diagnosis should be suspected when a female child presents with inguinal hernia or if she presents with primary amenorrhea. Herein we are presenting an interesting case report of the management of a 21 year old female manifesting as a case of partial androgen insensitivity syndrome.
