Abstract
Cysticercosis is a parasitic disease with worldwide distribution, which is endemic in developing countries. Common sites of involvement include central nervous system, skeletal muscle and subcutaneous tissue. Ocular cysticercosis is uncommon and it is often associated with generalized systemic infestation. We report a rare case of orbital cysticercosis involving an extra ocular muscle without any evidence of central nervous system or subcutaneous involvement.
