Abstract
Glanzmann thrombaesthenia is a rare autosomal recessive bleeding disorder caused by deficient or dysfunctional glycoprotein IIb-IIIa receptor on platelet membrane resulting in defective platelet aggregation. We report a case of Glanzmann thrombaesthenia undergoing lower segment Caesarean section and discuss about its perioperative management.
