Abstract
Visceral artery aneurysms of the extra-hepatic portion of the hepatic artery are rare and are usually caused by atherosclerosis or vasculitis. They commonly present with abdominal pain and bleeding, and are managed using endovascular techniques or open repair. We report a patient with common hepatic artery aneurysm in whom embolization had failed. We excised the aneurysm and reconstructed the artery using a great saphenous vein graft.
