Abstract
The author describes generations of human rights in the traditional classification. Different views on the inclusion of human rights to a certain generation are considered. The author suggests that scientific and technological progress, especially in the area of medicine, genetics, biology and chemistry brings a lot of opportunities but at the same time brings many problems. Thus, in the theory of law we can speak about the new generation of human rights. The author outlined main features of the new generation of rights.
