Abstract
Acute intestinal obstruction is usually caused by intra luminal or extra luminal pathology. Foreign bodies of various sizes and types have been known to cause intestinal obstruction. People involved in transportation of narcotics are termed as “body packers”. We report a case of unusual foreign body (benzoylmethylecgonine) causing acute intestinal obstruction in a prisoner.
