Abstract
The article is devoted to the use of modern methods of mathematical modeling for forecasting and decision-making in extinguishing forest fires. One of the best approaches synthesis, in a sense, management, using real and model parameters of a fire is considered. As the tool is selected the method of inverse problems of dynamics, which is based on the use of reliable mathematical models of the control object.The main mathematical equations of this method in its classical form and its possible adjustments to improve the adaptive properties are summarized. Model the spread of fire was represented by a non-linear differential equation, the output coordinate, which is the area covered by the fire, and the input (control) — the pace of building barrage strip. The paper developed an algorithm extinguish a forest fire in a barrage of recommended rate of establishment of the band at various stages of extinguishing it. The effectiveness of the algorithm has been confirmed by numerical simulations.
