Abstract
In view of the widespread use of plastic pipe with a number of operational advantages, consider the possibility of their use in automated installations of water or foam fire extinguishing. Given that the plastic tubes, unlike metal, are more sensitive to high temperatures in case of fire, the model thermal conditions at the locations of such pipes. The model takes into account the critical case where denies sprinkler closest to the fire, and deploy one or more adjacent sprinklers. We derive the conditions for the applicability of plastic pipes that take into account the height of the space to be protected, the properties of fire load and the permissible temperature for the plastic pipe. Presented an algorithm for estimating the applicability of plastic pipe to protect the particular room sprinkler automatic installation of fire extinguishing and an example.
