Abstract

The notable study of features of gas explosions in a room show that the development of this process is influenced by such factors as a variant of the glazing room, the adjacent room, the shape of the flame front, and others. When using a mathematical model based on partial differential equations, and solving systems of equations by large particles is shown that the known results can be supplemented by studies obtained on the numerical experiment. It was found that the place of ignition greatly affects at the pressure of gas explosion in the room. It turns out that the approximation of ignition to the window reduces the pressure of the explosion, the multiplicity of relations of pressure peaks in the ignition of the far wall and the window reaches 6 (4.8 vs 0.8 kPa). An explosion in the room, on the contrary, when approaching ignition source to the window extends in experiment 1 to 3 seconds. Implosion effect noted to lack of pressure in a room of about 40 Pa, which is at the end of an explosion outside cold air and a sharp drop in temperature in the room, from the window. These results develop forward the well-known concept of a gas explosion in the room.
