Abstract
The introduction of cloud computing has triggered a change in computer community. The varying requirements of users are faultlessly met by the cloud. The cloud is used for a variety of purposes including storage services. Cloud storage services allow users to store their data and thus reduce space consumption. But security and privacy of data stored in cloud is a major issue faced by the user’s and service providers alike. This paper deals with the introduction of a secure system to provide data security and user security. The paper outlines an idea to provide a three-fold technique for ensuring security of data. The technique progresses in three independent phases. These are security through encryption, authentication through one time passwords and integrity checking using the idea of bilinear pairing.
