DESIGN OF THE SCENIC COSTUME OF THE EUROVISION PARTICIPANTS FROM UKRAINE

The purpose of the research a comprehensive analysis of the costumes design of the participants on Eurovision, who represented Ukraine at the international competition 2003-2018, was conducted. It was revealed an analogy of decorative and form-forming elements of costume with traditional elements of the national costumes. It was discovered that in most cases, modern costumes include national elements that appeared in the stylized elements of cheres, plahta, vishivanka, necklaces, circlet of flowers, in the using of materials for clothes that are inherent in Ukrainian folk costumes.
