Abstract

In this article an analytical report is considered, the planning on the basis of which the forecast is made for a certain period of time. In particular, the author carried out a thorough and profound analysis of a number of data on the trend criterion, as well as seasonal component. Due to the fact that the planning process is first and foremost the most important and immediate task that arises for the implementation of the trade process in the retail market, without which it is not possible to imagine the strategy of the enterprise at all. Planning determines the perspective, the future state of the organization of the enterprise, the ways, as well as ways to achieve it. Therefore, the definition of the required amount of resources, the introduction of innovations for the correct response to changes in the environment - this is the main goal of planning. As a result, the author also identified an effective plan by the end of the year, through which the company will be able not only effectively and first of all to correctly plan the quantity of goods sold, but also able to prepare the composition for possible overload, as well as accumulated funds. As a successful activity of any enterprise engaged in sales of goods in the sales area depends on the implementation of such a management function as forecasting. Forecasting is a certain estimate, foresight, including foreseeing the future development of the selected management object, which should precede the planning. That is, the main purpose of forecasting is directly the formation of scientific prerequisites for making managerial decisions such as: analysis of trends and patterns of change in the object of management; an alternative prediction of its future development and an assessment of the effects of the active influence on the intended process in the management object. And since in the conditions of accelerated development of scientific and technological progress and the growth of globalization tendencies the uncertainty of future behavior of objects of management increases, the price of errors of managerial decisions increases, the role of forecasting is essentially increasing. Therefore, it's worth considering on the example of the Trade groups, how will predict sales of the seasonal product itself.
