Abstract
The specificity of the educational process in mastering of a specialty by foreign students, being taught in Ukrainian/Russian, is shown; outlined in the range of tasks that a philology teacher has to solve in language classes for a foreign audience, including the aspect of phonetics as one of the important steps for foreigners to master for their future profession.
