Abstract

The diversity of students from various regions of Indonesia who live in dormitories of Student Flats (Rusunawa) Sumbawa University of Technology brings its own characteristics to many things. The diversity of tribes, customs, traditions, languages and religions allows distance between students. Efforts to find vision and mission in management require a universal view of these differences. That is, multicultural education is important as an effort to plant diversity. Multicultural education is needed to reduce horizontal conflicts between students or groups of residents due to differences in culture, ethnicity, customs, and religion (flow). The multicultural education paradigm, the principle in its programming is expected to bring an atmosphere of harmony and mutual respect between individuals in an atmosphere of mutual dependence and responsibility.
