A RARE CASE OF BONY FRAGMENTS IN UTERUS

Abstract
Bony fragments within uterine cavity is an unusual finding in women with secondary infertility and is usually associated with past history of termination of pregnancy .This is a rare case of endometrial ossification in 23 year old female who presented with history of passing bony spicules during menstruation and secondary infertility. On transvaginal ultrasound ,a hyperechoiec region was noted in endometrial cavity. Histopathology of endometrial curettage showed proliferative endometrial phase with foci of calcification, possibility of fully calcified retained products.
