The personality of the convicted serving their sentence in places of deprivation of freedom: theoretical and applied aspect

The proposed article reveals the concept of "the personality of a convicted person serving a sentence in prison" as a private kind of the General concept of the offender's personality, the relationship of this concept with other related definitions of the perpetrator's personality is carried out. Reflecting the applied aspect, the work points to the structural characteristics of the personality of the studied category of convicts and notes their importance for the prevention and prevention of crime in General, and above all, its penitentiary component.
