STYLISTIC FEATURES OF PROVERBS IN THE “DIVANU LUGATI-T-TURK”

The folklore of the ancient Turks is very rich in various genre works. At the moment, the study of these works has entered a new stage. In many ways, these folklore works are studied from the literary side. And the linguistic features of ancient Turkic folklore are less studied in linguistics. At the same time, individual genre works as a proverb have been studied enough. But these studies were conducted only on modern proverbs of the Uzbek language. And the ancient Turkic ones have not yet been studied so deeply. This article examines precise- ly the stylistic features of the ancient Turkic proverbs, namely those removed from the “Divan Lugati-t-Turk”. Wording and stylistic form of these proverbs were given. The conclusion is based on the above examples
