Abstract
The article considers the cultural specificity of phraseological fusions in Russian, English and Karakalpak languages using the example of V. Vinogradov’s classification. In the course of the study, phrases were revealed that cannot be translated word for word into another language and confirms the identity, individuality of figurative thinking among of peoples.
