Abstract
This paper presents the mitigation of faults in wind turbine connected fixed speed induction generator using distribution static compensator because of its excellent performance of fault mitigation. The D current controlled voltage source converter used for reactive power compensation when connected to the power system. The control system of the proposed d proposed wind turbine fed fixed speed induction generator is evaluated and simulated using SIMULINK/MATLAB environment with and without D-statcomunder asymmetric faults.
