Abstract
The problem of environmental protection becomes more essential considering the deterioration of the condition of the environment and increasing of lands polluted with heavy metals. When carrying out monitoring and agroecological researches it is necessary to discover presence and concentration of pollutants.
The author’s goal was to establish the peculiarities of distribution of heavy metals (Cd, Cu, Pb,Zn, Cr) in meadow brown soils of Shida Kartli. The content of Cd, Cu, Pb, Zn, Cr is characterized by low indices.
