Abstract
Ambulance Response Time (ART) is the time between the call for the ambulance and ambulance reached at the scene, in emergency situations. ART is the key performance indicator (KPI) to evaluate the performance of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) because it is directly related to people's life. Many researchers and EMS persons carried out, their research for reduction of ambulance response time and they have been reduced ambulance response time by applying various Scientific, Engineering, Medical, Mathematical tools, and technics. The main objective of this paper is to find out the applications of various methods/tools used for the reduction of ambulance response time (ART). After the finding various tools and technics used for the reduction of ambulance response time, it is concluded that this review paper helpful to select particular tool/technics to reduce ambulance response time in Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
