Abstract
Radon is a colorless, odorless radioactive gas produced by the decay of uranium and radium. It is presented in the earth's crust since the creation of the earth. Uranium-rich rocks in the deep crust are the main source of radon. Its emanation in water sources varies from one point to another depending on the physical characteristics of the lands crossed. An instrumental study to make measuring stations and a dosimetry of these emanations in source water revealed high concentrations of this gas in the seismic regions' water. In order to reduce the likelihood of carcinogenic damage by these radon accumulations that pollute drinking water, it is recommended to bubble the water to get rid of radon.
