Abstract
Short circuit analysis simulations have been carried out for the reliability of mechanical component and network synchronization on the 10 MWe RDNK emergency power supply system. This study aims to determine the synchronization between the emergency power supply system of the 10 MWe nuclear power plant and the PLN gird how fast the disconnection and connection of the safety equipment system is designed. The emergency power supply system used was 2 identical 550 kVA generators.. From the results of the simulation of the load power flow shows that the emergency power supply system can supply the safety needs of RDNK components such as RPS, safety valves, circulation pumps. Effects of the reliability of mechanical components such as mechanical component failures due to short circuit and vibration are also presented. The results of the simulation of short circuit analysis are known at each bus lane and the maximum short circuit current that occurs
