Abstract
In this study, the performance of temperature control microwave closed system (TCMCS) assisted with fluid sealed stirring device was described. The performance of modified microwave closed system were assessed by calorimetric methods before modification, after modification without stirring system and after modification with stirring system were explained in detailed. The result of % microwave powers absorbance of TCMCS with fluid sealed stirring device is 92.04% as compared to 92.04% for without stirring system at 700Watt. The standardized coefficient (ß) test shows that the stirring system is an important factor in the uniformity of the heat distribution in the microwave system. Regression analysis of R2 observed the quadratic model of TCMCS with fluid sealed stirring device is a good model as compared to TCMCS without stirring system. The volume rate of heat generation in each microwave power level and different solvent was calculated and it was concluded that the result of TCMS at 700 Watt and water is higher due to longer pulse period and high dielectric properties respectively.
