WORK RELATED STRESSORS OF SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS OF DIFFERENT PERSONALITY TYPES IN RAGAY, CAMARINES SUR

Abstract
With the advent of internationalization and globalization of education, teachers faces new situations as the paradigm shifts to better and higher quality of educational outcomes thus, causing them stress. This study determined the Work-related stressors of Secondary School Teachers of Different Personality Types in Ragay, Camarines Sur for School Year 2018-2019. Descriptive-comparative methods of research were used in this study. Two-Way ANOVA was used to compare the stressors and Stress Management Strategies of the respondents of different personality types. It was carried out by using the adopted questionnaires developed by Lazarus and Youlden (2016) on Stressors and Stress Management Strategies. The respondent of the study was the 115 High School Teachers in Ragay. Results of the study revealed that the teachers in Ragay are moderately affected by stress, and they have a very high Work Related Stressors along Instructional Materials Development; Addressing Student Behaviors; while they fairly experienced stress along Workplace, Curricular Change, Relationship with peers, Preparation of Reports, and Financial Management. Furthermore, there is no significant difference in the work-related stressors of teachers of different personality types and there are significant differences among the stressors of teachers specifically the Financial Management, Preparation of Reports, and Instructional Materials Development..
